Planning and Cost Control Engineer

My Working Devision.

- Mr Azdi Abass, Managing Director assign me as Planning and Cost Control Engineer for the KKTM Kemaman project.

- Scope of work:
   1. Clarify interfaces, approvals, and client requirement for this project.
   2. Describe the main principles and documents used for each related activity.
   3. Control of project cost by utilizing established procedures for the preparation of definitive coded budgets, timely collection of cost data and expenditures, periodic reporting of cost information, and recommendations for cost control action.

- Duties:
   1. Inform the Project Manager and the Project Director of the cost status of the overall project and provide them with forecast trend and cost data necessary to control / minimize the costs of the project.
   2. Inform Field Management of the cost status of its field budget and provide it with the forecast trend and cost data necessary to control field performance.
   3. Impress upon all departments of the Engineering Center to be Project Cost conscious. Each Department Head remains directly responsible for the costs of work originating from his own Department.
